We’re pleased to introduce Ming Huo, who has recently taken on the role of Support Leader for Ps Wang in Asia. In this capacity, she will serve as the key liaison for both the Cantonese and Mandarin speaking congregations.
Ming writes: ‘I currently work as a Learning Support Assistant and also pursuing a Master of Teaching. I have a deep passion for education and youth mentoring, and I’m committed to supporting young people in their academic journey and personal development.
I grew up in a Christian family in China and was actively involved in church life from a young age. During my university years, I made a personal commitment to Christ and was baptised – a turning point that deepened my engagement in ministry. At CityLife Chinese Church, I serve as a life group leader and interpreter, helping to foster spiritual growth and bridge cross-cultural communication.
One of my greatest joys is mentoring teenagers. Walking alongside them as they grow in faith and navigate life’s challenges gives me a deep sense of purpose. My hope is to encourage them to develop with confidence, character, and compassion.
I’m married to Pat, and we are blessed with two wonderful children. Balancing family, work, study, and ministry has taught me resilience and helped me grow into someone who strives to make a meaningful difference wherever I serve.”
Ming will continue to update adopted Life Groups and individual supporters with news and prayer points from Ps Wang.
