When it comes to prayer, we can often be driven by the urgent or the exciting. When it comes to praying for our missionaries, we can often focus on the ministry and the communities that they are trying to reach. When you put these two things together, it is not difficult to imagine that what gets left out is prayer for the rest and refreshing of our missionaries.
Our missionaries to Ethiopia, Paulos, Ababo and their family are back in Melbourne on Home Assignment, a time for them to reconnect with family, friends and supporters. Also a time to REST. Let’s pray for them, that God would refresh them and pour back into them all that they’ve poured out in ministry in Ethiopia, “pressed down, shaken together and running over.”
